STAINLESS STEEL CLUTCH LINE - E36 M3, 328, 323 (NO 325) / E34 535I, 540I, 530I (V8)
Product Overview
Our braided stainless steel hose replaces the rubber hose that connects from the clutch slave cylinder to the clutch master. Over time, the stock E36 and E34 rubber hose can swell and deform under pressure. This can affect the pedal feel and cause inconsistent pedal feel and performance. Even brand-new rubber lines will expand.
The Garagistic clutch line's inner Teflon line is covered with woven stainless steel braid that will not expand under pressure. The advantages include better brake pedal feedback and a firmer pedal, along with superior brake modulation. Results will be immediate! Not to mention they are fully compliant with DOT Standards (MVSS-1006), have a lifetime warranty, and are burst-tested to 6000psi ( the maximum tested pressure from a BMW braking system is 1200psi). Unlike other brands out there, our brake lines have Teflon inner line covered with a woven layer of stainless steel and covered in an abrasion-resistant material (plastic covering). We even have plastic end pieces so there is no exposed steel fibers. Be sure to have a qualified installer to make sure they are responsible for the correct fitting and bleeding procedure as recommended by BMW. As brake line installation is a safety-related item, the installer assumes all responsibilities and risks associated with brake line replacement.
Brake Fluid: We recommend ATE Original TYP 200 DOT4 for its dry boiling point of at least 536°F and wet boiling point of at least 374°F.
